Everything works as advertised except for the mounting screws, which are weak and break when pressed against a wall. I used some deck screws I had and solved the problem.

Now that my big dog has been gone for a few years, its finally time to replace my big dog door. Ive downsized my doggy to just 4 puppies so dont need that huge dog door. I had this installed so I cant speak to how difficult or easy it was to install, but it is all metal and the installer actually said he has been recommending this exact dog door to people because of its quality very good. I like that its metal instead of plastic, and that the doors on both sides can be fully locked or locked. I installed two, but my dear little fools havent used that one in the bedroom yet, so one of them is enclosed on both sides.

We installed it on a stucco house with steel studs. Can be a little tricky, but it fits perfectly between the studs. I love that it has a locking door and dual magnetic flaps. We have no noticeable air leaks or dust ingress. Dogs love it
